Gallant had a pretty big in 2015 with his breakout hit “Weight In Gold.” It seems things are still golden for him in 2016 as he finds himself performing a special rendition of “Blue Bucket of Gold” with Sufjan Stevens.
Stevens and Gallant previously teamed up to do a fun cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” This time the two covered one of Stevens’ one songs from his latest album Carrie & Lowell. The original version of “Blue Bucket of Gold” is already a beautifully moving piano ballad, but Gallant’s voice forces this version to dig even deeper into the emotions.
