After waiting patiently to hear new music from British soul singer Laura Mvula, we finally got to hear her beautiful voice again this summer on “You Work For Me.” However, the record was for the film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. rather than her own album.
Fortunately, Mvula returns with a video for her new collaboration with Nile Rodgers, “Overcome.” We’ve gotten used to Mvula taking our breath away with her powerful vocals, but this time she doubles the impact with some striking visuals complete with captivating choreography and wardrobe.
