Last month, Hudson Mohawke "Shanghaied," the first preview of his 15-track Watch Dogs 2 soundtrack. With the video game's soundtrack release date slated for November 11, HudMo returned today with a brand new track titled "Play N Go."
Before sharing the new single, he posted a short message to his Twitter. "Picked a hell of a week to move to [the] US," he began. "Ironically most recent project is the music for Watch Dogs 2 game which has a parody [Donald] Trump and [Martin] Shkreli in it." The new single features glimmery production that works to dance right around the tribal-inspired drums and bassline. The result feels fitting for a video game soundtrack, but isn't limited to just that.
