Anderson .Paak has teamed up with Blended Babies to work on their upcoming collaborative effort, The Anderson .Paak EP. At the beginning of the month, we premiered the first single from the new EP, “So Slow.” Now they’ve returned with another single that is just as impressive as the first.
This second single “Make It Work” picks up right where “So Slow” left off. The subtle groove is expanded into something a bit more addictive. Anderson’s raspy voice feels both alluring and hypnotic over the ghostly hum embedded within the rhythm. This time, Anderson is joined by Asher Roth, who enters with a relaxed flow to match the groove of the beat, and a few notes from Donnie Trumpet to help complete the track.
The EP is expected to drop on September 25, in the meantime, listen to “Make It Work” below.
