It's been a year since singer/producer duo Abhi//Dijon shared their last EP, Stay Up. In the months since then the duo have been working on pushing their sound further and working on new material. This week they finally returned with a brand new EP simply titled Montana.
The duo's new EP is much shorter than their last with just five track this time around—but quality always makes up for quantity. On Montana, Abhi//Dijon show their range while remaining in the vein of R&B. The opening track "Red Light" sets the tone with a deep groove that will encourage listeners to get moving, while others like "We're Alone" offers up a mid-tempo rhythm that feels versatile. Covering all the bases, Montana closes out with "End"—a slowed down, hazy track that works to tie the entire project together and make it all worth the wait.
