Last week, Ski Mask The Slump God leaked his own project after writing on Instagram, "40k comments on this post and I’ll drop the tape on SoundCloud, and fuck my old management."
Unfortunately, the tape was quickly taken down, along with a follow-up message from Ski Mask that said, "We gotta wait until May 11 for the tape, my lawyers saying." Now, after a couple hiccups, the project has finally arrived. Fans who heard the original leak will notice that the official version is a bit shorter, though. The songs "Worldwide," "With Vengeance," and "SKIMeetsWorld" did not make the final cut, which means the project is now missing out on two Timbaland-produced tracks plus an Offset feature.
The final product is a 10-song tape that features Rich The Kid, Ronny J, SahBabii, and Danny Towers. Despite the rocky rollout, this thing still features plenty of the charismatic rhymes and flows that made Ski Mask one of the most exciting young rappers to emerge over the last couple years.
