Darci emerged in 2017 and throughout a handful of singles, they established their modern, genre-agnostic style before they even revealed their identities. Still keeping their distance, Darci's tenth drop is "On My Own," a song that balances dark undertones with sleek production and simple but effective melodies.
"Our song writing is typically pretty abstract, based off a collection of little instances of memories or feelings that come to mind around the vibe of the production," Darci said via email. "To us the song is about being ok with being alone, but still having an attraction to someone you keep coming back to. It's really open for interpretation and we hope people apply it to themselves in their own ways for their own stories."
