Two creative forces have linked again—Lil Skies tapped Cole Bennett to direct the "Welcome to the Rodeo" video. Like "Nowadays" and "Red Roses," "Rodeo" gets up close and personal—Skies dominates the camera, appearing in his signature braids and letterman jacket.
We follow the Waynesboro, PA artist as he mugs with fans, poses for a caricature, and is trailed by security. It's a modern spin on the one-take video—specifically, Lil Wayne's "A Milli." "This video is a tribute to Lil Wayne’s 'A Milli' video," Bennett posted in the video's comments. "He’s one of Skies' and mine’s favorite artist’s growing up. So we had to pay homage to the man himself."
