Cousin Stizz and Curren$y each have the kind of laid back, effortless flows that are perfect for meandering smoke sessions and jazzy instrumentals. So, hearing them finally connect on a Statik Selektah-produced track is a dream for fans of each of these guys. With saxophone accompaniment by Utril Rhaburn, Stizz gives a couple direct nods to Curren$y with references to the J.E.T.S. and his "Spitta style."
"Slept to Death" is the latest single from Statik Seletah's eight studio album, 8, coming December 8. It will feature a long list of guest appearances from artists like 2 Chainz, Action Bronson, Joey Badass, Termanology, Run The Jewels, The L.O.X., Wale, Royce Da 5'9", and Raekwon.Â
