The return of Archy Marshall, and King Krule in particular, is something to celebrate. After teasing a new album with the release of the fantastic "Czech One," complete with a dreamy lo-fi video, Archy has announced his new album as King Krule. To coincide with this very exciting announcement, he's shared yet another video for another new song. As with the past tease of his upcoming album, The OOZ, "Dum Surfer" has us eagerly anticipating the full record.
Following on from 2013's Six Feet Beneath the Moon, King Krule's new album promises more of his signature sound. Described as his most expansive work to date, the album sits across 19 tracks. If "Dum Surfer" and "Czech One" are any indication, we should expect songs ranging from sleepy to dark and jagged. "Dum Surfer" has an attitude that's easy to get behind, reminding us of some of his liveliest material.
The video for "Dum Surfer" is just as hypnotic as his last one, featuring a bunch of zombie like onlookers as him as his band perform, looking a little sick to put it lightly.
