Teenage artist Yellow Days takes a classic approach to songwriting, and he hasn't missed yet.

Yellow Days is one of our favorite rising artists. The British singer and producer is still a teenager, but he possesses a raw, gruff voice that can convey what sounds like many years of hurt and pain. It was that voice, along with the classic arrangement, that first captivated us on the heartbroken "Your Hand Holding Mine," and those elements are on full display again on new song "So Terrified Of Your Own Mind."

Yellow Days' debut EP Harmless Melodies, released at the end of last year via Good Years, proves that there's a brighter side to his sound too (check out "Gap In The Clouds"), but for a slower, moodier four-and-a-half minutes, listen to the premiere below.

Yellow Days plays Corsica Studio on London on July 6. Tickets here.
