Lunice's new single "Distrust" is an adventure.
Opening slowly with bare-bones production, the song builds suspense as Denzel Curry rattles off politically-charged bars. C9 crew members JK The Reaper and Nell come through next with energetic bars of their own as Lunice picks up the tempo.
Then, around the 1:50 mark, Lunice does what Lunice does best and takes the song in a jarring direction, chopping Denzel's vocals into a mix of growling bass and glitching electronics. Basically, anyone who has ever fantasized about hearing Curry's vocals spliced into that amazing TNGHT EP from 2012 got exactly what they wanted.
