Chief Keef's new 8-song project Thot Breaker is out now, and I'm still wrapping my head around it, but I can't get past the second song on the tape, "Can You Be My Friend." When Keef first started gaining popularity he was closely associated with an aggressive Chicago drill sound, but since then he's veered away from the formula and shown a wide range of styles. On "Can You Be My Friend," Keef goes full-blown pop with a "No Scrubs"-influenced flow and a lighthearted, summery feel. It's polished, catchy, and if it's any indication of Keef's future direction, things could get interesting.

Listen to "Can You Be My Friend" and the rest of the Thot Breaker project below.
