In November, A Tribe Called Quest followed up the release of their highly anticipated new album We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service with an appearance alongside Dave Chappelle on Saturday Night Live. Just a few short months later, it appears Chappelle will be teaming up with ATCQ once again in a different way.
This month, Dave Chappelle will be making his big return with not one, but two new stand-up specials on Netflix. Before the March 21 premiere, Netflix released a new trailer for his specials earlier today. The short preview shows Chappelle covering a wide range of hot topics for his jokes while the entire clip features a soundtrack by A Tribe Called Quest's latest single "We The People."
Dave Chappelle's forthcoming special will be his first since 2004's For What It's Worth, so it seems fitting that he would choose to be paired with A Tribe Called Quest—who made a spectacular comeback after an almost two decade-long hiatus.
