In October, The Internet announced that each member of the band would be releasing solo albums within the next year. In most cases, this kind of news can be startling because it almost always is the foreshadowing of a breakup. However, in this case the band members plan to put their individuality on full display and show what they each bring to the table to make The Internet complete.
During their recent visit to Pharrell and Scott Vener's Beats 1 show OTHERtone, a few members from The Internet shared snippets of what fans could expect to hear from their forthcoming solo albums. Steve Lacy, the band's guitarist, shared his first solo single "Some" last month, however it appears we might hear a full solo album from the band's lead singer, Syd. Today she took to Twitter to share the exciting news that her album, titled Dive, is officially done. Hopefully this means a brand new single from Syd isn't too far away.
