St. Vincent Will Score Kristen Stewart's Upcoming Film

The short film will premiere at Sundance, along with St. Vincent's own film.

Aside from performing at David Lynch's music festival, appearing in a Marc Jacobs ad, and dressing as a toilet costume on stage, St. Vincent has been fairly quiet for most of this year. She's been focusing her energy on composing the soundtrack for Kristen Stewart's upcoming film Come Swim.

Come Swim, which will be Stewart's directorial debut, is set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival next month. St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, revealed her involvement with the forthcoming short film via Twitter this week. During her performance at David Lynch's Festival of Disruption, Clark performed a few new songs. However, there's no telling yet if she managed to sneak in previews of anything that will soon be heard in full on Come Swim's soundtrack.

Though there are still a few weeks left of December, it appears Clark's new year is already set to kick off in a big way as her compositions will be heard for one film during Sundance, and she will also debut a short film of her own during the festival. Clark's film, titled XXis set to premiere during Sundance this coming January and will be her directorial debut. Earlier this year she teased the forthcoming horror film by saying that it was about "four deadly tales by four killer women."
