Taking to Instagram following the end of his Blank Face tour, Schoolboy Q says he's already got a new album on the way. "New album 2017 fuck a break I'm already ready," he said on an Instagram post yesterday (December 18). " He followed up the post by posting a photo of his daughter winning MVP of her soccer league with the caption "Mvp over da boys." He reiterated on the Instagram caption that he's "Back to soccer dad while finishing the new album."
Earlier this year Schoolboy Q his fantastic fourth studio album Blank Face LP to a lot of acclaim, so it seems that the response to the album and its subsequent tour has left him hungry for more. While it's nice to know he's already working on the follow-up to the album, it remains unclear as to whether the album will actually arrive next year. With the exception of his debut album, Q has release a new album every two years, and with how TDE is known for delays, it wouldn't be all that surprising if the album doesn't arrive until early 2018 rather than next year at some point.
