Over the summer, Maggie Rogers first impressed us with her single "Alaska" that managed to perfectly balance bits of folk music with uptempo elements that would encourage bodies to move. In the time since then, Rogers has shared two more songs that were equally refelective but in very different ways. "Dog Years" focused on friendship, while her other release "# (Demo)" came about as a reaction to the recent Presidential election.
With each release, Rogers has helped to create more anticipation for her debut EP. Today she finally makes the announcement that her forthcoming EP, titled Now That The Light Is Fading, is set for a February 17 release via Capitol Records. Along with this announcement, Rogers shares new visuals for her recent single "Dog Years."
