On the back of what Hits Daily Double calls "blockbuster" preorder sales, J. Cole's highly anticipated new album 4 Your Eyez Only has been projected to move between 400,000-500,000 equivalent album units (which takes into account streaming and single sales figures). This would give him his fourth consecutive No. 1 album.

Cole's last album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, debuted at the top spot with 375,000 units sold (before eventually going 2x platinum). His first album, Cole World, started at No. 1 with 212,000 units sold. Then, his second project, Born Sinner, debuted at No. 2 with 297,000 units before moving to No. 3 in its third week).

For comparison, The Weeknd's Starboy debuted with 348,000 units last week—the third highest of 2016, behind Drake’s Views (1.04 million units) and Beyonce’s Lemonade (653,000). Hits Daily Double projects Childish Gambino's "Awaken, My Love!" to sell between 85,000 and 95,000 units in its first week.
