Back in the summer 2013, Daft Punk ruled the airwaves and practically every single family party, with their feel-good record "Get Lucky." The collaboration alongside Pharrell and Nile Rodgers found itself on heavy rotation for months, and even earned Grammy awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. However, the song surprisingly only managed to peak at No. 2 on the Billboard charts.

Three years later, the French duo finally find themselves at the top of the Billboard charts next to The Weeknd thanks to their contribution to his hit single "Starboy." This new accomplishment on the other hand earns The Weeknd his third No. 1 single. Last year he landed at the top of the charts twice with his hit singles "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills." For eight weeks, Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane's collaboration "Black Beatles" ruled at the top of the charts, but after a steady climb, The Weeknd has finally taken their spot.
