Last week, Ta'East returned with the thunderous new single, "Light The Way." Now the Los Angeles-based rapper has given us yet another striking track with "Black Male," a vibrantly produced track that won't appear on his forthcoming debut EP, Ok I'm Ready. Produced by Cairo Mayeson, Ta' explained the track a little more in a press release, saying, "This is a retrospective look into the mind of a young black man learning his truths through trial and error while responding to the white lashing of the progressive state of America."

It's a bit of a loaded track, but Ta'East finds a way to make it digestible and stylish at the same time. The slick track is further proof of just how captivating a rapper Ta'East can be when he hones in on something over such a fantastic beat, and "Black Male" certainly has some incredible production going for it. Ta'East recently showed up during Virgil Abloh's DJ set at Complexcon on the Pigeons & Planes stage, flaunting just how much of a star in the making he really is.
