On Saturday night, Isaiah Rashad took to Twitter to discuss his ongoing battle with depression and anxiety. Rashad has been open about his struggles in the past, candidly discussing them in interviews and often using them as lyrical inspiration. On his excellent new albumThe Sun's Tirade, he doesn't shy away from rapping about his history with addiction and depression.

Rashad began his series of tweets by speaking about how Lil Wayne's verse on Solange's new song "Mad" hit him close to home. On the A Seat at the Table track, Wayne discusses his experiences with depression and suicidal thoughts.

He goes on to encourage those suffering with depression and anxiety to seek help and assure them that they are not alone. One of his tweets quotes lyrics from Chance The Rapper's song "Everybody's Something." He delivers a powerful message similar to the one relayed by Kid Cudi in his heartfelt open letter on Tuesday evening.
