Dom McLennon might be Brockhampton's secret weapon. With he distinct way in which he weaves words together atop often complex or vibrant production, McLennon offers a grassroots approach to lyricism that sets him apart from the rest of the self-proclaimed "All-American Boyband." His latest, "Mentality," is proof that he's just as vital on his own as he is with the rest of Brockhampton's immensely talented musicians.
Employing Wrex Mason for production and recruiting Chad Browne-Springer for a memorable feature, McLennon has his best song yet with "Mentality." The bouncy production and hypnotic flow makes this one to remember, proving once again that everyone in Brockhampton is continually improving. As the first single from his forthcoming album, we couldn't be more excited about what the future holds for McLennon as a solo artist.
