Young Thug continues to defy gender norms and expectations. After admitting that he doesn't care for sex and making headlines for the dress he wore on the cover of JEFFERY, Thug sat down with Billboard and hinted that his upcoming wedding with Jerrika Karlae won't follow tradition, saying: "There will be two brides."
He didn't elaborate on the comment, but Billboard's Ramona Rosales went with the assumption that he'll be wearing another dress on his wedding day, writing: "soon, he’ll don another statement gown." Thug explained, "When it comes to swag, there's no gender involved."
“When I was 12, my feet were so small I wore my sisters’ glitter shoes," he continued, revealing that his gender-defying choice of dress is anything but a new revelation. "My dad would whoop me: ‘You’re not going to school now, you’ll embarrass us!’ But I never gave a f— what people think.”
