Earlier today Lollapalooza announced the lineups for their upcoming South American festivals. The announced festivals will take place in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. As usual, the Lollapoolza lineups are stacked with lots of big name artists. However, today's announcement came with a special surprise.

Among the names on lineups for these three upcoming South American festivals, The xx can be seen listed at the top of all three posters. Although we saw a mini reunion when Jamie xx brought out Romy xx for a performance of "Loud Places" last summer, these performances would mark the group's first official shows together as a whole in three years.

The xx will take the stage together again in Brazil on March 25 and 26, and then in Argentina on March 31 and April 1. The group will conclude their Lollapoolza festival run in Chile on April 1 and 2. Over the summer, The xx shared another update on their forthcoming third album. Now that it's been announced that they will be performing live again soon, it seems fair to assume that this new album will be ready for the public pretty soon.

Visit the official site for more information, and view the full lineups below.
