Canada has blessed us with some major stars over the past few years like Drake, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, but Toronto specifically continues to introduce us to some of today's brightest rising stars. Artists like Jazz Cartier, Tory LanezDaniel Ceasar, Alessia Cara—to name a few—are working to bring more focus on their city, and with talent emerging from left and right at a rapid pace, they've certainly got everyone's attention.

Earlier this week we got familiar with another young artist from Toronto, a singer with striking vocals by the name of Jessie Reyez. And today we're introduced to yet another one of the city's newest talents—K. Forest, a singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer from the Toronto suburb of Brampton. His music is as blended as the city he represents, and his latest single "Link" is an incredibly catchy track that gives just a preview of what he's got up his sleeve.

The production provided by himself and dF makes "Link" feel simultaneously menacing but inviting. K. Forest provides the infectious melody and hook that is sure to leave listeners wanting more after just one run through of this single. It may still be early in his career, but K. Forest is already on the radar of some big names, as Travis Scott's latest album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight flips K. Forest's "Guidance" for a track by the same name. K. Forest is definitely someone you need to keep an eye on.
