Last month FKA Twigs held an open casting call for a "major project." At the time, she wasn't revealing an further details other than the fact that she wanted to welcome "performers of all genres." Her message always claimed that "no talent or style is too extreme." With these vague guidelines, it was hard to guess what she could be doing but it was clear that the results would feature a very diverse set of performers.
Finally Twigs is ready to share the details about what these casting calls were for. Today she announces that she will be partnering with The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series as this year's curator. The series, which takes place in London this October, aims "to produce the ultimate Halloween experience."
For her partnership, Twigs will introduce a special event titled "Rooms." On Wednesday, October 26, "Rooms" will launch with a private viewing as well as a VIP party. On October 27 and 28, this unique Halloween experience will open its doors to the public. Ticket holders will also be greeted with a glass of Veuve Clicquot upon entrance.
Following her announced, Twigs spoke on the new partnership saying, "There aren't always opportunities to make your wildest creative ideas a reality, 'Rooms' is one of my most ambitious projects to date so I'm very excited to be bringing it to life for the Veuve Clicquot Widow Series."
