Kanye West and MTV's Video Music Awards always make for a brilliant combination, resulting in a number of iconic moments. Just last year, in fact, Kanye gave a legendary speech in which he pleaded, "LISTEN TO THE KIDS BRO." Whether Kanye will have a moment as great as his (possibly in jest) announcement that he'll be running for president in 2020, remains to be seen, but MTV sure are upping the chances of another big Kanye moment according to a new report from TMZ.

As per TMZ's report, Kanye West will apparently have free reign over the stage at this weekend's MTV VMAs for four minutes. A source told TMZ, and confirmed to Pitchfork, that Kanye will take to the stage do whatever he pleases. What that will entail, however, remains to be seen. Maybe a performance? A chance to debut new music? Perhaps he'll just stand there silent and do a little dance, but right now nobody knows what he'll bring to the awards show.

TMZ are also reporting that there have been rumors him and Taylor Swift will make amends during the show, but sources told TMZ that Swift doesn't have any plans to attend the show this year. Rihanna, Future, Britney Spears, G-Eazy, Nick Jonas, and Ty Dolla $ign will all be making appearances at the show, though, performing their latest respective singles.
