In the three years since Toro y Moi released Anything In Return, Toro aka Chazwick Bundick has released both his Samantha mixtape and his What For? album in 2015—as well as Michael in 2014, from his side project and alias Les Sins. And even with all of the passing time and new music, Anything In Return has yet to get old to Toro fans.

While Chaz gears up for the release of his new live album, Live From Trona, and concert film—which he plans to perform and film in the Mojave Desert—he decided to gift fans with a special treat first.

Today Chaz releases an alternative version of the album cut “Grown Up Calls.” The original is a mid-tempo track with a subtle groove, but this new version digs much deeper into that groove and showcases the same lyrics from an entirely new perspective. Even at nearly seven minutes, once it ends it still doesn’t feel like enough. Be prepared to hit the repeat button.

Listen to the alternate and the original versions below.
