As soon as Kanye West’s video for “Famous” initially debuted, it was evident that someone would attempt to parody the video somehow. Enlisting the help of numerous celebrities, BBC Radio 1 has concocted a very safe for work version of the video, in which everyone remains clothed. It does, however, have a lot of celebrities in it, including Justin Bieber and Craig David. As far as parodies go, it’s not exactly going the whole mile, but BBC Radio 1 certainly did well with the celebrities for the most part.
Starring Bieber, Craig David, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Carly Rae Jepsen, 5 Seconds of Summer (oh jeez), Troye Sivan, Cheryl, and British TV personalities Ant & Dec for some reason, the parody isn’t anywhere near as shocking as the original. In fact, there’s not much comedy value to be had here, but if you’ve ever wondered if Bieber is a graceful sleeper or not, today is certainly your lucky day.
