Jermaine Dupri Knows the Name of Jay Z's Next Album, Says "It Might Be Done"

Remaining relatively quiet in the three years since the release of Magna Carta Holy Grail in 2013, it looks like Jay Z is focusing on music again.

He released his first solo material since MCHG earlier this month with “Spiritual” (shortly after showing up on DJ Khaled’s “I Got The Keys”) and rumors have been swirling that he’ll respond to Beyoncé’s Lemonade with an album of his own. Speaking with Elliott Wilson on the Rap Radar podcast, longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri gave more insight into an incoming project from Jay.

“Me and Jay have conversations that I’m sure he don’t have with nobody else,” Dupri began. “I’ve spoken to Hov, even at the Beyonce concert. I know the name of Hov’s new album and everything right now.”

Then he added, “It might be done.”

Realizing he may have said too much, Dupri then raised his hands in the air and grinned, “I don’t know what I’m saying. I’m just saying it might be done.”
