ScHoolboy Q Shares Short Film Featuring New Song "Tookie Knows II"

ScHoolboy Q continues

Last week, ScHoolboy Q shared the first part of an ambitious short film accompanied with the release of a new song titled “By Any Means.” Ending with a “To Be Continued” title card, the video promised that the story would be continued, and today ScHoolboy has shared the follow-up. Featuring the closing track from the Blank Face album “Tookie Knows II,” the video is second part in ScHoolboy’s ambitious short film series.

Following Q and his crew as they rob a store, things quickly turn south for him and his crew. Shortly after the robbery, they promptly get arrested, which is when “Tookie Knows II” begins. The rest of video follows the narrative of a more traditional music video, featuring verses from Traffic and TF atop the haunting Nez & Rio production. As with the last video, “Tookie Knows II” ends with yet another “To Be Continued” right as they’re getting transferred to another prison, meaning we’ve got at least one more short film on the way.

As with the last video, “Tookie Knows II” is directed by Jack Begert and Dave Free, who previously directed the video for “THat Part,” too. Watch the video for “Tookie Knows II” above, and look out for Blank Face when it releases next week on July 8.
