Goodbye Tomorrow is done waiting.

When we spoke to the group they stated, “We originally wanted this to be out in December. In the industry you always have to wait, everyone wants to wait and strategize. So we’re over at Rostrum and everything we try to do gets met with “Here’s the schedule, here’s the zip zip, talk to iTunes, it takes three weeks to do this, we changed distribution to this.” Music is always supposed to capture a moment and by the time we get to share this moment with people, we’ve been waiting. I hate waiting and I know no one likes to wait. So the original thing was to get the music out right now, it’s urgent music.”

Tunnel Stripe Exit Ramp is the urgent music he’s speaking on and today the faceless rap group is here today to deliver their new EP. After attempting to work within the norms of the industry, GT decided to take matters in their own hands.

“The same thing kept happening and we got caught up trying to exit the red tape of that whole situation. Getting this out is kind of like a rejuvenation, breaking through the cycle of the loop. People get stuck in the loop doing their day to day. It’s kind of like a routine, that’s what the tunnel stripe exit is, being in that loop where all you see is yellow/black, yellow/black, yellow/black. This project is about breaking through that.”

Tunnel Stripe Exit Ramp touches on everything from corruption in the media to men’s struggles in relationships with women. It has uptempo, intense records we’ve come to expect from the group like the Skepta-sampling “2 MANY” as well as mellow, less intense records like “Mesmerizing.” Throughout all of the different sounds the message remains clear, “This album is about coming to square with yourself. Accepting your part in your destiny, realizing that it’s in your hands.”

GT also addressed their facelessness in our conversation and stated that it’s bigger than just anonymity.

The lead vocalist told us that “it’s about trying to start the conversation “Why do you want to be famous?” The facelessness is really just the face of the rebellion. It’s never been about hiding identity, it’s about rejecting the idea that your identity is somehow connected to your value. Your value is always at it’s highest.”

Tunnel Stripe Exit Ramp is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Pirate Bay for all of the torrent fans or you can stream the project in full below.
