In the past couple of months, Kid Cudi has shared two new tracks “The Frequency” and “All In.” Both singles gave fans a preview that Cudi was returning to the sound that originally won much of his fanbase over, and straying away from the more experimental music he’s been releasing lately.
Cudi has been hinting at a new album for some time now. His previous singles have received production from Mike Dean, Plain Pat, and Mike WiLL Made It. And last month it was reported he was also in the studio with Andre 3000. Though exciting details keep unfolding, fans have been eager to hear news about a new album.
Today, Cudi finally delivered some details fans have been waiting for. Earlier, he took to his Instagram account to share the title of his upcoming album. He shared a short tease of an Instagram post captioned, “My new album is titled…” The video shows the handwritten title Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ as the title for his upcoming album. Hopefully this will be followed by a release date or a new single in the very near future.
