Singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett is making her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest for the season finale tonight. In preparation for the big episode, SNL released a sketch of Barnett attempting to teach Bobby Moynihan some Australian slang.
Moynihan knew what a singlet was thanks to his Andre The Giant/wrestling knowledge but had no clue what a “ute” (pickup truck/vehicles with a cargo tray in the rear) was.
They closed the sketch with talks of “shrimp on a barbie”/barbeques and the whereabouts of Paul Hogan.
