Norwegian electronic composer Lido blew us away last week with his gorgeous interpretation of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo, titled “The Life of Peder.” Today, he rides that momentum with some original solo material in the form of an impressive new single called “Crazy.”

“‘Crazy’ is exactly the first impression that I wanted to give people of my album,” he says. “It’s big and complex but honest and emotional. I wanted to combine all the compelling elements from RnB with the massive power of electronic music. I think that is me in a nutshell.”

The concept for the video plays on his status as a contemporary composer working in an electronic realm, as he plays conductor to an orchestra of light that twitches along to his commands. Self-directed in one take with no edits or effects, the execution is flawless. Watch above.
