Watch Josh Homme Berate Someone Asking for an Autograph

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has found himself the subject of a TMZ video after getting in an argument with someone seeking an autograph. While leaving an after-party for one of his shows on Thursday night in Detroit, Homme confronted a fan looking for a signature. He didn’t react too kindly, assuming that he wasn’t a real fan and was merely looking for an autograph to sell on eBay.

In the video that TMZ got ahold of, Homme can be seen calling the man a “fucking loser” and a “spoiled motherfucker,” after asking him what he does. When the man responded that he was a teacher, Homme got a little physical, but no violence broke out. TMZ reports that when the man made a comment about “$90 tickets and $30 shirts” is when Homme decided to confront him.

Consequence of Sound reports that the man in question was indeed looking to sell autographs on eBay, with a reader explaining, “I was at this in Detroit and was right next to Josh when this happened. TMZ cut out the angry comments made by the ‘fan’/autograph hound, and it’s unfair to Josh that they did that. Josh wasn’t signing autographs because there were obvious eBay sellers there (multiple items, lying to get stuff signed for their kids, etc), but he said he would take pictures with everybody. Suddenly, the autograph hounds weren’t interested. When Josh started taking pictures with people, the autograph hound (who talked about reselling the autographs while we were waiting outside) then said ‘do you know how much we made off you tonight’, which was a reply to Josh saying that he didn’t want anything ending up on eBay.”
