Kanye West has had a busy 2016, to say the least. Between the fashion shows, Twitter rants, and dressing up as the Easter bunny, Kanye still found time to release one album (Even though it might never be finished, it’s art!), and start work on another album, Turbo Grafx 16.
The past few months have been exhausting for Kanye (and anyone else who reads the news), but now he might be making a move to add to his management team, by working with none other than Scooter Braun. Billboard is reporting: “The rapper-producer-fashion designer has been working with Braun for about a month. The 34-year-old, Los Angeles-based Braun will share management duties with West’s longtime rep, Izzy Zivkovic.”
XXL, however, quotes a source in Kanye’s camp as telling them that Braun is not officially managing West, instead working with him in a consulting role as a friend.
Scooter Braun is of course known for discovering and managing Justin Bieber. Braun and West have been friends for a while, but if Braun does officially come on board as manager, it would seem to be a smart move on Kanye’s part.
