Rostam Batmanglij announced his departure from Vampire Weekend back in January, with plans to launch a career as a solo artist. He already shared the gorgeous “EOS,” but now he’s back with his first solo track since announcing he’d be leaving the band with “Gravity Don’t Pull Me.” Taking a considerably different, but just as enjoyable approach as “EOS,” Rostam’s latest proves that he’s just as strong a songwriter by himself as he is when working with others.
