Late last night, Kendrick Lamar released untitled unmastered., an eight track project which includes studio versions of the untitled songs he performed on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and at the GRAMMYs recently. It’s a loose, free-form record, part jam session, and with some really incredible high points. There’s a lot to digest.

Not even ten minutes had passed since Kendrick’s collection of untitled and unmastered songs was released, however, and people were already comparing it to Kanye West’s latest album, The Life Of Pablo. We get it, rap is a competitive genre, but do people really need to compare these two projects which have so little in common? Can we just slow down and enjoy Kendrick’s latest musical offering? Of course Twitter can’t.

Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered. has been out for around 12 hours, and Twitter won’t stop comparing it to The Life Of Pablo, and a lot of people having already decided which project they prefer.
