James Blake let loose another unreleased track on his BBC Radio 1 show this afternoon. Following the premiere of his gorgeous song “Modern Soul” last month, he debuted a song he produced for grime artist Trim during today’s episode.
The talented UK artists first linked up under the moniker Trimbal in 2012 for “Confidence Boost” and their compatibility shines again as Trim’s imposing flow booms over Blake’s experimental production. As a bonus for dedicated fans, Blake also looped an old obscure cut of his called “Evening Fell Hard For Us” for nearly ten minutes. Listen to both cuts below.
