Late last year, Brooklyn-based artist Richie Quake released his strongest collection of tracks to date, In Love n’ Memory. Building off the solid and sleek R&B base he built for himself with his earlier work, Quake confidently pushed himself out by further showcasing both his songwriting talent, and his production expertise. Now he’s doing the same with the equally as well crafted and punchy “Irresistible (Ice Cold).”
As his first single of the year, “Irresistible” no doubt strives to be as enjoyable as its namesake would suggest. There’s a weight to the production that really backs his songwriting expertise, making it clear just how much he’s willing to evolve without ever fully abandoning his sound. Richie Quake looks to be planning a big year with a number of singles on the way, so look out for more from him later this year.
