To promote the release of his fifth studio album Made In The Manor, grime veteran Kano made a short documentary. The film follows Kano through the album’s production and explores his roots in East London.
The MC has always been known for representing his birthplace—as the title suggests, Kano grew up on Manor Road. East London was instrumental to Kano’s relationship with grime, and Made In The Manor is peppered with classic footage of Kano performing. Kano also uses the doc to preview a new track, “T Shirt In The Manor.”
Made In The Manor is due out March 4.
