Baauer announced his debut album Aa (pronounced “double a”) on The Late Show with Steven Colbert last night and, with the help of Leikeli47, debuted a new single “Day Ones.” The album is solely produced by Baauer and features some heavy hitting guest spots: Future, Novelist, M.I.A., Pusha T, Rustie, and more.
The performance gives us a peek into the album with a hard hitting beat and aggressive vocals from Leikeli47, but as Baauer is one of the most unpredictable producers in the game (this is the same guy who gave us “Harlem Shake”), and there is such a diverse cast of features, it’ll be hard to guess what he will be delivering to us come March.
