Kendrick Lamar’s latest album To Pimp A Butterfly recently received 11 Grammy nominations. While Kendrick is primarily responsible for this high honor, the various producers are just as deserving of the recognition. As the year comes to a close, Terrace Martin—one of the producers who helped make TPAB what it is—returns with an alternative twist on one of the album’s singles, “Alright.”

Though, the original track was produced by Pharrell and Sounwave, Martin gives listeners a taste of what “Alright” would sound like from his perspective. The already feel-good track, gets a refreshing jazz remix that is a bit more spaced out than the original. Martin’s remix, “Alright (11),” features more instrumentation at the forefront of the production.

Martin told FADER, “I wanted to do this remix as my part to continue to push the message of love and to celebrate change! My only goal with all my music is to help and spread good vibes. I’m just happy we are helping to push a positive energy around the world.”
