Next week we will be releasing a compilation of original songs by some of our favorite rising producers and their friends. It’s called I Like It, What Is It?, and it’ll be available for streaming and free download on December 22. We’ve gathered together a roster of artists that includes the likes of Negative Gemini, Poter Elvinger, and Nok from the Future. The project will celebrate the work of some of 2015’s most promising producers, showcasing just how much talent there is bubbling up right now.
Today we’re releasing the first single from the project, and it comes from et aliae. Approaching her unique and sparkling sound from a background in classically trained piano, her work often incorporates modern takes on the work of legendary composers such as Sergei Rachmanioff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Her tendency to build complex layers of textural beauty make her one UK talent you need to get familiar with. et aliae will be releasing an EP early next year through CASCINE Records, which you can expect to hear more about soon.
