DP Depicts a Dangerous Life in New Video for "Treachery"

Guns deck the dresser, bottles of Percocet line the cupboards, and a toxin-filled mix of vapors and smoke infiltrate the air around you. Such is the life of Virginia spitter DP, who enlists director Hidji to bring visual justice to “Treachery.” The grimy record offers a gutter-level view of a dangerous world that’s at once all-encompassing and fuel for creative output.

With a backdrop almost as chilling as Gang Starr’s “Above the Clouds” supporting him, the rapper packs more into two minutes than most of his peers would in twice the time. Enter DP’s treacherous life above, and give Designer Casket, the EP from which it hails, a spin or two while you’re at it.
