After Getting Shot in the Head, King Louie Discusses Gun Violence on CNN

King Louie discusses gun violence just days after surviving gun shot to the head.

Just last week it was reported that Chicago rapper King Louie had been shot in the head. Fortunately, Louie survived this gruesome incident and has been recovering ever since. It seems as if he has been recovering at a miraculous pace because less than a week after the shooting, Louie appeared on CNN to discuss gun violence.

During a short interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, King Louie recounted details from the night of the shooting. After opening up by saying, “I feel blessed,” Louie explained that there were reportedly 22 shots fired but only seven of them had hit him. “Three of the slugs are still with me today,” Louie explained. “Two in my chest and one in my head.” When asked by Lemon to explain what’s going on in Chicago, Louie simply stated that “the Devil’s working overtime.”
