Pell dropped his album LIMBO via Dave Sitek’s label Federal Prism last week, capping off an incredibly exciting year for the rising New Orleans-born rapper. Before the album dropped we got to know him better through the excerpts from his diary that he shared with us and we were impressed by the dark and intense video for “Café du Monde.“
Today we get the video for “Queso,” directed by Tyler Yee, who was also behind “Café du Monde.” Things are very different in this video, a fun-filled and at times surreal clip that matches the song’s call and response energy and bouncy production.
