Last month, Nao shared the first single, “Bad Blood,” from her forthcoming debut album. Today she shares visuals that not only match but heighten the dramatic level of the single. The London singer does not make an appearance in the video herself, but the ambiguous plot is mesmerizing either way.
The nude protagonist can be seen strutting around in what seems to be an eerie, dystopian future, taking revenge on the deserving. With just a simple glance, the bodies of these culprits are immediately taken over in an interesting way, to say the least. The pairing of such a dramatic plot with Nao’s sweet, delicate voice make for an intriguing contrast.
